By this time, we know that you are probably extremely anxious. We are here to help the day go as smoothly as possible for you. The following tips should prepare you for what to expect on March 1. Tip #1: Be Prepared This tip may seem trivial. However, there are ways you can prepare yourself for notification day. Decisions will be released on March 1, so make sure you can log into your myIllini account before March 1. You should be able to log into your account using the same username and password youve used throughout the application process. If you cant log into your account, you can call our office at 217-333-0302 any time between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. CST weekdays and we would be happy to assist you. Tip #2: Be Patient We will release thousands of decisions on March 1. Therefore, a large number of applicants will be logging into their accounts simultaneously, and the system may move more slowly than usual. We ask that you keep this in mind when logging into your account. You should only log in once using one device and one browser. Try your best to keep from refreshing the page numerous times. This helps to minimize some of the traffic on our system (and also allows you to get your decision more quickly!). Tip #3: Be Informed Once you successfully log into your account and have seen your decision, it may be helpful to check out our website to get a better understanding of what each decision means. If you need more information or have more questions after reading our website, you can call us starting Monday, March 4 between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. CST.
